*NEW* Guidelines for Final Camera-Ready Paper Submission (For Accepted Papers Only)

The authors of the accepted papers are required to submit the final camera-ready version of their papers through the FrappeHub Conference Portal by 31st July 2023 after considering and addressing the reviewers' comments that were provided during the peer review process. The camera-ready papers must contain original research that has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere and be prepared strictly following the publisher’s guidelines and template. Failure to do so may result in delay or rejection for publication. The authors may still require revising their papers timely and accordingly if there is any feedback from the conference and publisher editorial team. The conference committee reserves the right to exclude those papers that are not fulfilled the above requirements in the conference proceedings or journal.

Camera-Ready Submission Checklist

Conference Proceeding - IFMBE Proceedings

  • The final source file (in Microsoft Word format) of the paper.
  • A final PDF file corresponding exactly to the final source file.
  • A scanned copy of the Copyright Form (save as a PDF file), filled and signed by hand by one author on behalf of all of the authors of the paper. Digital signature is not acceptable.

Submitting Camera-Ready Files

Submit your file(s) by going to My Contributions > Click on the paper title you would like to submit > Final Submission > Click "Submit paper" > Upload all the required documents based on the format. Please name the file(s) using your paper submission ID (for example, ICOBE2023XX, where XX is your paper ID number).

Publication

All accepted papers will be published as:

Note: Authors can choose to submit their papers for consideration of publishing in either the conference proceedings or journal, both of which are Scopus-indexed publications. The accepted papers may be subject to revisions by the authors based on feedback from the reviewers and/or editors of the conference and publisher before they can be published.

Manuscript Submission

The submission process will comprise two phases:

  • Abstract Submission: Authors register an intention-to-submit by submitting an abstract. This submission requires only the title, an abstract of the manuscript, the contribution type (conference proceeding/journal article), a complete author list and speaker, the paper subject area, and the conference participation mode (physical/virtual). The full manuscript is NOT REQUIRED during this phase, although it can be submitted as an attachment. The committee will conduct a preliminary review for each abstract submission and assign them to the conference tracks accordingly. A notification of abstract acceptance/rejection will be emailed within 24 hours.
  • Full Paper Submission: Authors whose abstracts have been accepted can submit their full manuscripts before the full paper submission deadline. Authors must prepare their manuscripts following the guidelines and templates of their contribution type of publication, either in the IFMBE Proceedings or JARASET. All submissions will then be evaluated by at least two reviewers.

Please check the important dates for further details on the conference timeline.

Authors should submit using the FrappeHub Conference Portal [Submit Now]. Please see the FrappeHub Submission Process Flowchart for guidelines on submitting an abstract and full paper, the review process, registration, and payment.
