The FRAPPEHUB websites may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. If you access those links, you will leave the FRAPPEHUB website. FRAPPEHUB does not control those sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from those of FRAPPEHUB. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The personal data you choose to give to unrelated third parties is not covered by the FRAPPEHUB Privacy Statement. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting your personal information. Some third-party companies and organizations may choose to share their personal data with FRAPPEHUB; that sharing is governed by that third-party company's privacy policy.
Types of information we collect
FRAPPEHUB collects personal information related to conference paper management, including information about authors, reviewers, session chairs, conference registrants and technical program committees. This information generally includes the person's name, professional affiliation, country, email address and professional status (student, etc.). FRAPPEHUB users may, at their discretion, provide additional information, such as their mailing address, dietary constraints or professional society membership information, to simplify paper processing.
Children's privacy
FRAPPEHUB does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and FRAPPEHUB does not target its websites to children under 13.
How we use this information
FRAPPEHUB uses your personal information to provide conference and journal paper processing and registration services. For example, personal information is used to submit papers, assign reviews, prepare conference technical programs, to allow users to register for events and to print name badges. Personal information such as affiliation and email addresses are used to check for possible conflicts-of-interest.
FRAPPEHUB collects information about client IP addresses used for operations, to facilitate the analysis of software problems and to assist chairs in detecting and investigating possibly fraudulent or dishonest user actions.
FRAPPEHUB uses cookies to allow users to log in to the web site.
Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. In accordance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard, FRAPPEHUB only stores the last four digit of the credit card number, but does not store or log the CVV2 (card validation code), the full credit card number or the card expiration date.
Non-personal data is aggregated for reporting about FRAPPEHUB website usability, performance and effectiveness. It is used to improve the customer experience, usability and site content.
Who we share this information with
FRAPPEHUB will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others.
FRAPPEHUB shares information about papers, registrations and reviews with the conference chairs, the sponsoring professional society and their designated agents and, where configured, with the conference technical program committee. Chairs may make technical programs containing name, affiliation and country available to others. Each conference has its own policy as to who may access reviews, papers and other conference-related information.
FRAPPEHUB may, at its discretion, share with conference chairs and the staff of professional societies organizing the conference information about the service usage of authors and reviewers associated with a conference, e.g., to help in investigating plagiarism or duplicate submissions.
Outside a conference, only the name, affiliation, country and email address of FRAPPEHUB users is made available to other registered FRAPPEHUB users, so that they can search for co-author, reviewer or session chairs by name, FRAPPEHUB identifier or email address. This information does not reveal which conferences the person has contributed to in the past.
Information about dietary constraints is shared across technical program committees.
FRAPPEHUB users can register their interest in particular technical topics. If they register such interests, they consent to receive conference announcements related to these topics by email. Beyond this mechanism, conference chairs are not allowed to use mailing lists for conferences that have completed to announce other conferences.
FRAPPEHUB will not share personal information with any other third parties without your permission, unless to: (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order.
FRAPPEHUB may make anonymized information available for research purposes. Any such research must file a data protection plan and ensure that no personally identifiable information is disclosed or reverse-engineered.
Data retention
FRAPPEHUB retains papers and other conference-related information for access by conference chairs, reviewers and authors.
Updating your personal information
FRAPPEHUB users can update their personal information via the FRAPPEHUB web site at any time or can ask the FRAPPEHUB help desk to update this information. FRAPPEHUB does not remove or alter information about past submissions unless requested by the conference chair.
