Description

The country Nepal introduced corporate social responsibility as compulsorily in fiscal year 2016/17. At the time when compulsory legislation had been introduced in many developing countries like Nepal, there was much enthusiasm among researchers about corporate social responsibility and firm performance. There was still a lack of clarity as to whether CSR environmental activities has an impact on firm’s performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between CSR environmental endeavor and firm’s performance within listed companies. Descriptive research design has applied to carry out this survey examination. The findings showed that CSR environmental endeavors has positive significant impact on firm’s performance. From this result, it can be said that Nepali companies are competent in improving their firm’s performance by contributing to the environment activities. This result may encourage firms executives to be more concerned with their environmentally- friendly products, process and the management in the coming days.
